Refuge Property Services was built on a simple conviction: a person’s home or property should be a sanctuary. It is a place where care, precision, and respect are non-negotiable.

As the sole owner-operator, my path to launching this business was shaped by an unconventional mix of hands-on discipline and community connection. My technical foundation began as a child who grew up in a Midwestern, blue collar family. My father was working as a dual-ticket, journeyman electrician/lineman, and the majority of my childhood memories include helping him renovate basements in various homes we owned throughout the years. Serving for six years in the United States Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol, as a Cadet Officer and Blue Beret ingrained in me a deep commitment to integrity, discipline, and service before self. I bring those core values directly to every project, ensuring honest communication, personal accountability, and work that is always done right. 

As an adult, my technical experience began with working hands-on in aircraft maintenance as an apprentice airframe and powerplant mechanic. I worked on complex aircraft where attention to detail is paramount and complacency is never an option. That same demand for precision carried over into performing residential and commercial electrical work, learning under a licensed professional.

Before stepping into full-time property services, I spent years as a local journalist. This experience taught me the value of clear communication, active listening, and genuine relationship-building. Through starting Refuge, I aim to bring these worlds together by combining high-stakes mechanical precision with transparent, honest communication and a deep commitment to service.
